Ethnic children in Vietnam are at risk of malnourishment, lack of winter clothes, inadequate housing, and school dropping. In some cases, they cannot afford to go to school, while in other cases, ethnic children struggle to find food to survive. These children may also be in jeopardy of becoming orphans due to severe economic conditions.
This project is an opportunity to give our support directly to the ethnic children in Vietnam. We may visit their homes to understand their circumstances and get to know the families and to ensure that the children’s situations are improving. We may talk with their teachers, school principal, or community elders to set appropriate goals of advocating the children in education.
